During the first week of realise it was mainly about settling in for the first few days, the first night we all planned our menus and working out what was for dinner each day of the week, the next morning we went Foodland and were given a budget and bought all the food we needed for 5 days. Our milk, bread and meat were all pre-orded for us.
At the start of the week we did a lot of class work but we also went to 2 museums to learn about the history of the towns and the mining history.
We then went on an overnight camp to Innes National Park. We arrived at an area of the park and did some weeding pulling out a type of plant that has purple flowers on it. There were also Emus roaming around the grounds! The same day we then went to a beach to pick up some rubbish. After that we went back to the camp site and set up our tents and cooking dinner. That night we went for a night walk and looked for a type of wallaby. The next day we did some more weeding in a closer area and picked up rubbish. We also walked along the beach and picked up rubbish.

The second week we did a lot of snorkelling! We also visited an indigenous primary school and played with years 1 and 2, in the whole school there was around 20 students. It was a great opportunity to see what life is like in a town like that. Every student was some how related. The town they lived in was only for Aboriginal people. We had to get permission to visit because it's indigenous land. We've also done some tree planting on the Wambana land and doing a mosaic piece on the fire circle of under the sea.
